The Daimaru Pensione (a.k.a. Synjyu-no-yado Daimaru) is 3-star ryokan style accommodation with a relaxed atmosphere. It is located in a great position just a few minutes walk to the Akakura Onsen Ski Lifts. The rooms are large and comfortable, although somewhat utilitarian. Guests have a choice of Japanese style rooms with shared facilities or Japanese/Western combination rooms with ensuite bath and toilet. There is a private onsen with beautiful mountain views and a Japanese restaurant.
