Nozawa Onsen is located just one hour’s drive from Nagano City in the northern part of Nagano Prefecture - a charming hot spring village which is home to around 5000 people. Nozawa Onsen has been renowned for it's hot springs since the Edo period but more recently the village has also become known as ski area that features a great variety of terrain and amazing snow that’s hard to match. Nozawa Onsen offers more than just a ski trip – experience not only the culture, food, famous hot springs - but also the ambience and great après ski which sets Nozawa apart from other areas. The village features some amazing traditional architecture with temples, shrines, hot spring establishments, traditional inns and free foot baths. Throughout the village there are about 30 different type of hot springs and 13 public hot spring baths that can be used free of charge. 	Kawaichiya Ryokan is a Japanese style inn (ryokan) located in Nozawa Onsen which is about two minutes from the Nozawa Onsen Centre bus stop and close to the Nozawa Onsen main street. The inn has two different kinds of hot springs. The onsen sources are OGAMA and SHINYU in Nozawa Onsen.
